A Kiss Is The Beginning Of Cannibalism
A Kiss Is The Beginning Of Cannibalism is a school editorial project with a set triptych format and a free choice of theme. Drawing mainly on the series Hannibal, I built a visual and textual narrative around cannibalism as a metaphor for romantic possession, aimed at a queer, underground community drawn to dark aesthetics and the subversion of romantic conventions.
The black/red/white system directly reflects the narrative. The illustrations were made with oil pastel, then digitised and coloured in Photoshop.
